Hi guys, an update to the sending tips feature provided by @tipU. From today 1% of the tip will be burned by sending it to @null.

So if you send 0.1 Hive tip, the recipient will receive 0.99 Hive and 0.01 will be sent to @null.
The reason is that soon (few days) tips will be implemented on peakd.com and they will have this burning mechanic to avoid abusing. I wanted those two ways of sending tips (using @tipU and peakd) to be consistent so they can be presented the same way :)
Can someone explain to me why if I want to delegate to tipu let's say 30HP when I make the transaction it says something more than 30 HP like 30.789 HP to delegate?
If I remove the delegation in the future, will I receive 30HP or 30.789 HP back?

Can't tell right now, I'm not planning to print more tokens. I would need to buy them back first :)
So...what if I buy upvotes from Tipu? Or the profit sharing tokens are different tokens?
The same ones - they are still paid out for upvote buys (on steem) but with little amount (1% of the payment).
So that means if I buy votes here on Hive instead of Steem I won't receive them, right?

Would you ever consider say those who hold 100 TipU token can avoid burn to drive HODLn of TIP U or even burn TipU along with HIVE for tips too?
Nope, I rather not mix TPUs and tips. There are other ways to burn TPUs :)

Not yet on hive :) the TPU tokens used to recharge are still on steem-engine.
Does that mean I can not recharge on hive? But on Steem? If yes. Please let me know how to make it happen with procedures or link to follow even on steem too.
