My small spring garden inside the house .

Yesterday we went to the garden center to get some new bulbs and plants for inside and outside.

It's always cheaper then a flower arrangement and they last a lot longer because next year they will flower again.

we bought some ornithogalum , dafodils, iris and tulips

The dafodils will flower +/- next week i guess

The tulip is not completly open yet but the ornithogalum starts to flower now

The dafodils on the left still need to flower and so does the Iris behind the ornithogalum . I do hope to get some pictures of those in the comming weeks

and the cat is enjoying the sun on her pillow

Your own private springtime! I've been growing herbs this winter, but now I'm wishing that I would have planted bulbs, too. Your cat is wise to soak up the sunshine wherever he can!

fresh herbs can be nice too , especially mint for tea

Drinking a cup of mint tea right now. I have more dill and basil than I know what to do with! Parsley and thyme are not as lush.

parsley, thyme and Rosemary i also have in the garden next to 3 or 4 different kind of mint , my wife and daughter love the mint tea.

What a lovely idea to bring a little spring indoors! I love it! The only things I have are leftover geraniums waiting to be replanted and some herbs.
