I think that instead of moving forward we have gone backwards, not even the general population has their own or critical thinking, but others think for them, social networks, AI, TV. If we don't have reasoning... which characterises humans... what's left? Do you think society will be divided?

Divided for sure, but that's nothing new, humans have been divided forever. It won't matter when humans become extinct, not something that'll happen in our lifetimes, but to think it won't happen is naive.
It's going to happen, we're going to become extinct and I think it's happened before.... humans don't learn.
