RE: American Primeval and the end

Hi Galen, the series sounds good, my I know it, but it makes me want to watch it even though I've been away from TV for a few months.

About humanity, as far as I can, every day I'm more and more away from it. I live the end of this one in my own terms, when I die, humanity will be over for me, and I will rest from so much madness and stupidity.

Sort:

We can't live in total solitude, that's not how the human species works, but the more I see the more I wonder about the value, declining value, of interaction between humans. It seems to be a downward spiral with no signs of abating.

We are a social animal, and I don't believe that total isolation is a solution. That's why I say that, as far as possible, I distance myself as much as I can from the rest of humanity. Of course, I don't stay away from the people I love and who love me. I think I can count them on the fingers of one hand, and I'm not complaining, I think it's quite a lot of people.

I'm with you man, I keep a small friends group, am very selective and don't have to rely on external interaction or sources of stimulation to feel engaged with my life.

I think it is sensible, intelligent and good for mental health. At least, that there are some sane people left on Earth 😁.

Yep, a few sane ones...not many though.
