Today I was writing a post that I was planning to use later in the week; I probably definitely should have been doing something different and was sort of hurrying to get it done as I have other more important things to get to and, of course, I fucked it up because instead of saving it to my drafts I published it quite soon after posting previously. What a fucken idiot.
Anyway, I think it's important to own it and move on, so I edited the post and moved on with my life; it's not the end of the world after all and life will continue on regardless.
Today I've been pretty flat out after being away for a few days or so. Mostly I've been cleaning up around the place, doing the housework, and decided to reorganise the kitchen by moving things around a bit, the coffee machine and all, in a bid to make it flow better and mostly because I was bored with it as it was; I also cleaned out the entire fridge and pantry. I had to take my 4x4 to the tyre place as I'd picked up a slow leak in the rear left tyre, (a nail as it turns out) and once that was plugged came back home to do some gardening stuff.
Right now I have to work a little bit, just some emails and research for a thing I have coming up and later in the week and then I'll be off to the beach for a walk...maybe a dip in the water too so I hope there's no fucken sharks around.
That's about it for the moment, not a very exciting day but one I had to have. What about you? Have you done anything exciting this weekend?

I made the suggestion to @pooky-jax and she rolled with it. So yeah, pretty happy with it. Put the coffee maker right next to the sink for easier cleanup. She seems happy too so win/win.

Yessssss, you're so lucky to live near a beach...that sounds super exciting to me : going for a walk by the shore while my Chloe runs free, sniffs and barks at anything she finds fun and dangerous, including the unhappy shark that dares to come near us....😅
This weekend has been quite restorative, no pressure from housework, and more comfortable without the constant fevers I've been suffering from all week, so I've enjoyed it after all.
Sometimes we miss breathing fresh air, and other times, just a little home peace is enough.
The beach is nice, I walk there a lot, and swim now and then just to keep the sharks company.
It's good to hear you've relaxed and have not been suffering the fevers you've been having. Hopefully you feel mu h better and can manage to get out and about some more. A walk maybe.

Every time that happened to me, I blame myself to much, which wasn’t good at all. So I’ve learned to go with the flow, and I’m at that point now—just moving forward. In the end, what matters is sharing. To avoid headaches, I leave the title for the end so it doesn’t get published by mistake .
This weekend has been busy; yesterday was the city’s anniversary, so there was a lot to enjoy. Today I'm watching the Baseball Premier 12 and will be a quieter day, recharging my energy for the new week

Hi Galen, this weekend I had a very exciting experience, I had to block a pretty important bank account, because the person I share that account with had his cell phone cloned, and all his banking information stolen. It's quite exciting to talk to banks on the weekend and at the same time, try to understand why one person's clumsiness can complicate your life so much. Anyway, entertaining weekend.
Dealing with banks, especially on the phone, can be pretty annoying as you probably discovered. A shame that other guy caused such an issue, hopefully it is all sorted out.
In principle, with the account blocked, no one can withdraw money. Tomorrow, Monday, I have had to change my schedule to finish resolving the problem in person at one of the bank's branches. I think everything will be fine tomorrow. Thank you.

A 70's party sound ls like a bit of fun, hopefully you had a good time. The beach was beachy, sandy, wet in places (in the water) and overall a nice relaxing time. I didn't go for a swim...too cold. 🥴
I was trying to be optimistical!
It was pretty fun for the most part, it was a cool night but my single arm sock (only wore one as the other arm had beaded bracelets and a spiky bracelet on it, I was of course punk but a very boring one as I didn't have enough safety pins or chains or bling as I had been planning on skaterpunk and didn't realise that was 80s/90s) kept me surprisingly warm.
I'm hoping it will be warm enough for beach next weekend, hopefully warm enough to go in the water but that depends on the air temperature XD
I am the objectively most absolute worst when it comes to cold

The most exciting thing I've done this weekend is to try to catch the blighters eating the kale in my dome by lying in wait after dark, torch at the ready. As to cleaning the kitchen, you could start a utube channel. I'm sure there are lots of ladies who'd pay to see such a rare feat. You could call it Only Pans!:) Sorry, couldn't help myself.

I thought I was the only one to whom something like this happened. Just today I was reading a meme on a friend's whatsapp status, it was a cartoon image that narrates the process of a person going to sleep. Then the amazing brain proceeds to make a sweep of all his stored memories to see which one he will dedicate the hour of rest and decides to choose one titled: "embarrassment I spent in public. Volume 15"
Which made me remember how when I was younger, I used to waste time regretting things or feeling miserable for stupid things I did, but it turns out that nothing happens, the world doesn't end and life just goes on.
It happens to most, the difference is I don't simply delete the text and leave only the word, "deleted", I write a new one and edit it in like I have done here.
You always do an excellent job even though there are so many things going on behind the scenes, the result turns out to be good and spontaneous and I think most would agree that it is always a pleasure to read you

I've been away from the platform for a while, but I've always felt like coming back and committing some crazy things like posting without choosing a community, without tags, breaking a community rule by carelessness or posting an unfinished draft. Some of the many things that have happened to me. But in the meantime I enjoy being able to read and comment on some interesting posts 🤫☺️✔️.
Those things happen and people generally understand when it does, but if it happens over and over by the same user then it can look somewhat questionable. People make errors now and then and that's ok, it's how people learn.

Not the end of the world 😉. I spent the morning in the recording studio with a band whose album I'm producing. That was fun and the highlight of my day.
Then I worked on some flowcharts to fine tune some business processes and in the afternoon I added some pages to my Notion board on HIVE. I'm putting together information about the history of HIVE, the last few hardforks and some wiki-style information to give to newcomers.
Getting ready for a BBQ fest tomorrow, as a guest though, not grilling.

Nothing really excitining. Currently we don't have water( we are trying to get water from the city but it is taking very long time). So our favorite neighbor gives us some water and I buy more water at the shop. So today I went to the shop to get water.
Why don't you have water, is there something wrong with the pipes?
I hope not...We were using water from the well. But last time we filled the well (I believe it was on 26 day) and three days later the well was somehow empty...I have no fucking idea why. Filling the well costs 50 eur each time. And we can't really afford to fill it every 3 damn days. So the only option we had available was to sign a contract with our city water supplier. Our house should have water connected to the supplier. We just need water meter instaled. But plumers connected with water supplier are busy so we have to wait...
One positive thing is that now when we are no longer using water from the well our electricity bill should be much lower because hydrophore was using a lot of electricity.
Ah ok, it sounds complicated and a little strange the well was empty so quickly. Could someone be stealing the water?
That is what our neighbor first assumed as well but I have no idea how someone would do that. Normally filled well used to last us a month+ and I was already thinking that it ends too soon. but 3 days is just insane.

Maybe. Anyway now we already decided to use water from the city. I just wish that damn plumber would come sooner. Without water apparently there is no pressure as well so we can't heat up the house either. We are used to live in not very hot house but this is still slightly annoying.
I've done that before too. It sucks, but I guess there are worse things that could have happened! My wife and I have a much needed weekend off this week. She took me to a new breakfast place in town yesterday and we spent a lot of time cleaning, moving the living room around, and putting up the Christmas tree already.

So far it's a quiet weekend, house stuff, shopping for the week, tidying up, cleaning, cooking. That was yesterday, today I think I'll rest, go out, go for a walk and take a walk which I love. I'll see what surprises are in store for me today!
