The sport has a lot of history I guess, so many amazing stores and so many of abject failure. I think that's what I like about it, the complexity and how, for success to come, every element of a F1 team has to come together at the same time. It's a team sport.
Anyway, some like it and some don't...I'm the former.
Sorry to get back to you so late, I am down with a stomach virus and have lost regularity of sleep, I should be asleep now, yet I am awake and have spent the afternoon in bed. I fully understand that you can like Formula 1, to achieve a goal you need many elements to coincide in a positive way: good equipment, technology, design, strategy and driving.
Although I don't live it with the passion of my five or six years. What I keep from those years is my admiration for the design of the cars of the sixties and seventies.
I wish you a great Friday.
Sorry to hear you're not well, I hope you start to feel better quickly.
I am with you on the 60's and 70's but love the development and evolution in race cars since the very early days. What they do now, compared to where it all started, is incredible.
Anyway, feel better soon.
Thanks Galen, I'm getting my strength back. Have a great weekend
