This was at Chester Zoo last Sunday for my daughter's birthday. Where I had a great (but tiring) day out with my grandsons. Though, I have mixed feelings about keeping magnificent animals like this in captivity. But at least they're safe from poachers.
What a beautiful place, I love animals! And yes, the most important thing is that they are safe and treated well.❤️
Thank you. It certainly is a beautiful zoo that started in 1952. Unfortunately, it's expensive for a family. But luckily, I didn't pay!

I go to zoos also and feel the same about the captivity aspect.
We have a massive free-range zoo here though, the animals get to roam free...not all in the same areas though, lions, hyenas and gazelle wouldn't go well in the same area.
