Yep, but unlike a yearly subscription that is roughly 4 times that amount, it's a one-time payment; the only think you don't have is the ongoing upgrades, and I would say 99% of people don't really need them. I did tried some of the free options like libreoffice and openoffice, but at least excel wise, Microsoft one still feels like the best.
