Hive Meetups
Online
Audio/Video Calls
I manage a public jitsi platform at https://meet.openhive.chat, which you can use for your calls.
We use this instance for our monthly CoreDev meetups. For recordings and transcripts see @howo account.
OpenHive.Chat
When you authenticate on https://hive.blog using a private posting key, you'll notice a chat integration. Whenever you log in via Hive.Blog or Hivesigner, your private key remains private in your browser, meaning it's never sent to a server.
For chats, I'm available at https://openhive.chat( using the @gandalf account).
I've updated some old bridges and established a few new ones:
Telegram <-> OpenHive.Chat Bridges:
#HiveIO-telegram
bridges with the Hive.io Telegram group.
#hivefest
bridges with the official HiveFest Telegram group.
#spanish
bridges with the Hive en Español
Telegram group.
Discord <-> OpenHive.Chat Bridges:
#HiveIO-discord
bridges with the #openhive-chat-bridge channel on a Hive Discord server.
Others
#dev
is bridged with the #dev channel on a Mattermost instance.
In Real Life (IRL)
BerlinWeb3
Lots of talks, lots of fun. Meeting old friends, adopting new-bees.
Check out @louis88's posts for photos and video material.
Polish Kraków Meetup
Although the meeting was predominantly local, some participants traveled from distant parts of the country, Europe, and even the world. It's not the first time that after a club meeting, we've visited a unique, Hive-friendly place: @krolestwo.
Various Dev Related Meetups
I've attended numerous offline dev meetups, but one in particular stood out. I learned that using a bow to shoot other devs can be quite entertaining, especially when you're on the winning team.
<center< This is an actual photo from the meeting, postprocessed to protect the identity of dev-feated warriors.
Upcoming
HiveFest
Check out https://hivefe.st for details.
Bad News
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this time around. This will be the first HiveFest I've missed, and I'm definitely experiencing some FOMO.
Good News
On a brighter note, I've managed to secure a deal with airlines, as I have done in the past.
”Skyteam is pleased to be your preferred alliance for travel, official partner of HiveFest”
SkyTeam, one of the world's three major airline alliances, consists of 19 carriers including Aeroméxico, Delta Air Lines, Air France, KLM, Virgin Atlantic, etc. We have secured exclusive discounts of up to 15%, depending on your exact flight itinerary. You should receive a discount code from the @hivefest team shortly, if you haven't already.
Stuff & Services
Available at https://gtg.openhive.network/
- Exchanges snapshot update (4GB)
- Hived AH snapshot update (657GB)
- Hivemind (legacy) dump update (65GB)
Simple, but could save you days of hassle and lots of server resources.
Happy Hiversary to me ;-)

Mined true
I've been around for more than 7 years. This is also the length of time that my witness nodes have been running. In fact, my nodes have been operational for a bit longer, since my first proof of work was required to create my account.
Thank you all for your support. If you're not already voting for me as a witness, please consider doing so.
You are always welcome! :)
100 lat!!!
Thank you.
Actually... do you have a post already (EN) describing @krolestwo and all of its use cases that are Hive related? If so, please share a link, or couple of links.
There is only one published a year ago on @hive.aid. Yeah, we have to write a new one, because a lot has changed over the year.
Thanks, by the way I'll use this example as an opportunity to show the importance of frontend-agnostic links that IMHO should highly recommended.
That's because (1) your link is explicitly redirecting viewer to a PeakD platform, regardless of which frontend user (clicking it) is currently using (logged into).
This might be annoying if your hard-linked fronend is different than my preferred, since I might either need to log in to a different one (which I would rather avoid to) or replace part of the url in my browser.
So instead of using a link that explicitly opens a post in:
PeakD
Ecency
Hive.Blog
etc.
You can just use an (4) universal one in order to open it in a same front end app that the user is reading it in.
Here's how those links looks like in markdown:
1.
[PeakD](https://peakd.com/standwithukraine/@hive.aid/the-last-homely-house-eng)
2.
[Ecency](https://ecency.com/standwithukraine/@hive.aid/the-last-homely-house-eng)
3.
[Hive.Blog](https://hive.blog/standwithukraine/@hive.aid/the-last-homely-house-eng)
4.
[universal one](/@hive.aid/the-last-homely-house-eng)
Of course (4) is a preferred way. As you can see it consists of just
/@username/permlink
Testing something new I just learned: universal one
0.0 Oh, that's sexy! I have to remember this.
7 years is a really respectable time. Thank you for everything you have done for this platform.
If only we could just teleport to HiveFest and meetups around the world.
Airline discount: very cool but still can't go...
Teleportation: TAKE ME TO ALL THE COOL PLACES!
Happy Hive Birthday @gtg 🎉🎈🎂🎉🎈
I will miss you at HiveFest 😢
Thank you!
Partially the reason why I went to Berlin - to meet at least few of HiveFest creatures - that has to be enough to survive until maybe 2024's one ;-)
Thank you ! I was looking for the witness meetings recordings !PIMP
You must be killin' it out here!
@bitcoinman just slapped you with 5.000 PIMP, @gtg.
You earned 5.000 PIMP for the strong hand.
They're getting a workout and slapped 2/2 possible people today.
Read about some PIMP Shit or Look for the PIMP District
You are welcome, there are also transcripts possible (but btw I would rather go with local whisper instance than using external services)
the FOMO is real and i was only in Amsterdam :)
Focus on 2024 then, maybe we can make it wherever it will be :-)
Lots of goodies! Gandalf is the best!
Happy Hiversary too! 🎉🎉🎉 (mine coming soon!)
Thank you! ...and likewise :-)

Greetings...
Hey king! We need you, you're a such valuable member of the HIVE community and we need your help to bring the most advanced NFT market to HIVE that will integrate all the games and offer a new level experience to the NFT traders on all our blockchain. We're running a proposal and your vote is necessary to reach the goal. Thanks in advance king!
Hi, the idea itself is cool, but IMHO, DHF should not be used for such projects. In fact, I'd rather expect projects with a viable and business model to contribute to DHF once they succeed (which I wish you of course)
