Blockchain Wizardry
One might scratch their head as to why I chose this particular community to hold this post and announcement. I believe there is magic involved with what is happening with my game, NISM. I entreat you, @gtg, to hear me out and see the wizardry in what I am doing.
When I first met you in Krakow, I believe I even told you then, that someday, I wanted to build games on the chain. Those days are here now. The magic involved with this game is, it is not tokenized by what has become your normal standard in the creation of (yet another) Hive-Engine token, no. The currency inside the game will be/is pegged to HBD.
Yes, you read that correctly.
I am using HBD and giving it a beautifully viable use case we have yet to see on Hive. I feel that this will take pressure off of the selling factor associated with HIVE by keeping a new demand for HBD present. This will be good for everyone involved in the Hive social sphere and surely get new eyes on this flexible blockchain. It should also be beneficial to the stabilizer that is in play, giving more freedom and market movement of both cryptocurrencies, ultimately giving HIVE more value with the alleviated stress to sell it and keep HBD pegged at 1 (one) USD.
WEB 2 to WEB 3
It is obvious, that I want to involve both the Web 2 and Web 3 sectors of the gaming world. When it comes down to it, I want to amplify that this is a Web 2 game being designed to very gently introduce people to Web 3 gaming. Because of the unique nature of this game, there are tons of ways we will be able to monetize it, top to bottom and inside out and back to front and then again while it makes the world spin. There will also be just as many options for the players themselves, to have fun and unbridle their earning potential.

Are you ready? I have come up with various limited issue packages specifically for the Web 3 gamers and investors we love on Hive.
You may balk at the prices, but they are based on (what will become) subscription costs, server maintenance, NISM creation for the 3d modeling and rigging (which isn't cheap) and development fees for other aspects of the game when coming up with these numbers.
I feel they are more than fair for what anyone will be getting and if one would choose to ever sell any of the NISMs or premium unique items for those upper echelon packages, they should be able to easily get their money back.
I’d buy one off the market! These presale exclusives will not be offered to anyone outside of Hive as this is our ‘home’ and where we have chosen to build. So here we go:
The OptiNISM Package
- This will have several components. The first being, there are only ten (10). They are 5000 HBD each, (and preferably) only one per account/player. (The account/player for in-game use can be decided upon at a later date.)
- These will include 3 Extraordinary NISMs; The Cyber-Dragon you see in the video below of the typically unseen Feral NISM Type, A Dowgee Dog (representative and akin to the pioneering Shiba Inu Dogecoin Dog) of the Fauna type, and a Queen Bee (representative of the growing Hive blockchain and its adorable community) of the Fauna type of NISM. They will all be issued at level 1 (one), have a toddler's Maturity Level and befriended automatically with an Unbreakable Bond. These will not be able to be found while traveling in the game and are specifically Hive presale NISMs. One (1) of each these will be randomly selected to be anomalous versions.
- This will include a lifetime Player's Club membership giving you immediate access to The Player's Club in the Trade Center.
- There will be a limited edition full cosmetic set that reflects Hive that will be for the PIM, their avatar, home and a background included.
- You will be given the OptiNISM cosmetic (3 piece) set to bolster and dress up one of your NISMs with during gameplay.
- When introduced in the game, you will be able to set up your own Kiosk for free (the first 100 created will cost 1000 DigiBits/HBD for other players, and will increase nominally from there to offset increasing server costs).
- It will also include free entry into any 2 Life Surge Tournaments and any 2 Life Surge Pageants each month (game sponsored).
- It will let you have closed alpha and beta access to help us debug the initial version(s) of the game.
- You will be allowed to direct and design creation for 1 (one) series 2 NISM.
- You will be put in the rotator for organic affiliate sign-ups at a 1:2 ratio. 1 for you, next 2 for us.
- Finally, I will love you forever. 😝
The Elite Package
- These will have a limited amount of 25 to be sold for 2500 HBD each, (and preferably) only one per account/player. (The account/player for in-game use can be decided upon at a later date.)
- It will include a bizarre NISM called VelociKat which will be issued as a toddler at level 1 and be befriended with a strong bond. This NISM can be found in the game, though it is very rare. 2 (two) of these instances will be randomly selected as anomalous versions.
- This will include a lifetime Player's Club membership giving you immediate access to The Player's Club in the Trade Center.
- There will be a limited edition full cosmetic set that reflects Hive that will be for the PIM, their avatar, home and a background included.
- It will also include free entry into any 1 Life Surge Tournament and 1 Life Surge Pageant each month (game sponsored).
- It will let you have closed alpha and beta access to help us debug the initial version(s) of the game.
- Finally, I will love you forever. 😝
The Player's Club Package
- Limited amount of 50 to be sold at 1000 HBD per package, (and preferably) only one per account/player. (The account/player for in-game use can be decided upon at a later date.)
- It will include a bizarre NISM called Hip-Nautic which will be issued as a toddler at level 1 and be befriended with a major bond. This NISM can be found in the game, though it is very rare. 4 (four) of these instances will be randomly selected as anomalous versions.
- This will include a lifetime Player's Club membership giving you immediate access to The Player's Club in the Trade Center.
- There will be a limited edition full cosmetic set that reflects Hive that will be for the PIM, their avatar, home and a background included.
- It will let you have closed beta access to help us debug the game before going to market.
- Finally, I will love you forever. 😝
The Gamer's Guild Package
- Limited to 250, these will be sold at 500 HBD each, (and preferably) only one per account/player. (The account/player for in-game use can be decided upon at a later date.)
- This will include a choice between one of the starter NISMs that initially guide you in the beginning of the game. FunGuy (funga type - seen in the video), K-9 (fauna type) or FunSower (flora type - seen in the video). These will be issued as a toddler at level 1 and be befriended with a stable bond. These NISMs can be found in the game, though they will be more difficult to find. 20 (twenty) of these instances will be randomly selected as anomalous versions.
- This will include a lifetime Gamer's Guild membership giving you immediate access to The Gamer's Guild in the Trade Center.
- There will be a limited edition full cosmetic set that reflects Hive that will be for the PIM, their avatar, home and a background included.
- It will let you have closed beta access to help us debug the game before going to market.
- Finally, I will love you forever. 😝
NISM Beta Testers
- Unlimited amount, to be sold at 100 HBD each, (and preferably) only one per account/player. (The account/player for in-game use can be decided upon at a later date.)
- This will include a lifetime basic membership, unlocking key components to the game and ensuring your assets never find themselves in The Repo Depot at the Trade Center.
- There will be a limited edition full cosmetic set that reflects Hive that will be for the PIM, their avatar, home and a background included.
- It will let you have closed beta access to help us debug the game before going to market.
- Finally, I will love you forever. 😝
Affiliates
I want to touch on this as it is going to be the initial earning point for any NISM player with a membership upon full launch of the game. Yes, you will be able to sell, trade and buy NISMs and other in-game items and earn from that as well without a membership for 89 days. I want to be sure the affiliate aspect isn't taken for granted or felt undervalued.
Every player that buys a membership (present and future), will have a link they can share with a few different ads, splash pages and/or videos we choose for their potential sign-ups. This is just one of the ways people can earn something for having a membership within the NISM game. I want to go into this in detail, reiterating what is in the Litepaper, so people are aware of it and it sticks in their brains. Word of mouth and all. 😉
Players will earn 10% of any memberships purchased by the people that sign up on their link and 5% of any sales outside of a membership. Packages that include memberships will be treated as a membership sale and qualify for 10%. If a person’s membership lapses, any sales that would have gone to them will go to the game and a notification will be sent to them saying they missed X commission because they failed to renew their membership and ask them if they would like to renew theirs now. There are three different subscriptions.
Players Club
- This is the primo membership. These will cost $2.99 per week, $9.99 a month or $99.99 for a year. This will eliminate ads entirely. It will also give the player access to the other 2 exclusive shops they can enter with premium and limited items, only for the Players Club. There will be freebie packages that can be claimed each week from within the shop itself for members of the Players Club. High end merchandise like limited cosmetic issues and/or NISMs will also be seen there before (or if) they hit the open market. A few ‘Players Club Only’ items may appear from time to time or random thank you packages. Can be purchased via the Play Store with Google Pay or from their in-game wallet with DigiBits.
Gamers Guild
- These will cost $4.99 per month or $49.99 for a year. This will open a new section of the Trade Center where we will have better offers and packages than can be found in the other shops. A few freebie packages that can be claimed each week from within the shop itself for members of the Gamers Guild will be present. It will also give a player ‘SkipBits’ that they can use to skip ads for any given day. 15 will be allotted for a monthly purchase and 250 for a yearly membership. This also unlocks factions, kiosks, and pageants. Can be purchased via the Play Store with Google Pay or from their in-game wallet with DigiBits.
Basic
- A basic membership unlocks the full game and is 0.99 cents per month. This is the only package with one tier. There may be a few freebies they can claim from within the Trade Center from time to time. They cannot join a faction on a basic membership, may not own a kiosk, nor can they enter any pageants. All other features will be unlocked for them, and they qualify as an affiliate. Can be purchased via the Play Store with Google Pay or from their in-game wallet with DigiBits.
How To Purchase a Package
I want to make this as easy as possible, but also want to be sure we get everyone's information correct in our system.
When buying a package, we are only accepting HBD. The HBD needs to be sent with a memo to this account - @nism.
Two things are required in the memo. The package you are buying and the amount you are sending. I ask this to make sure the two are equivalent to each other and there are no mistakes. There will be no refunds.
If you already know the Hive account you wish to use for the game, please include that as well. It is not mandatory, but optional. If you are opting to play from the Web 2 entry point and intend to initiate your gameplay with an email address and password, include the email you are going to use instead. You can always add your Hive information later with the help of our Keychain integration.
This sale will continue with updates on what remains up until we come to market and out of initial beta testing. As a package sells out - it sells out. No exceptions will be made. Once it is released on Google Play, this sale is considered effectively over.

One thing I am curious about (and you may have mentioned this somewhere and I just missed it/don't remember) - will this be ported to ios (Apple's mobile operating system) as well?
