Former President Donald Trump launched his cryptocurrency venture, World Liberty Financial (WLFI), during a lengthy “State of Crypto” address on X Spaces.
The event, co-hosted by crypto influencer Farokh Sarmad, had mixed reviews. Some listeners wanted more details about the platform and others thought that Trump and his family walked them through their journey into crypto in depth and highlighted the main details of their new platform.
The platform aims to operate as a decentralized finance (DeFi) hub, similar to Dough Finance, offering borrowing and lending services. WLFI intends to promote stablecoin adoption and plans to use the popular DeFi app Aave for its platform. Only US Accredited Investors will have the opportunity to participate in the sale.
