Чи бувало у вас, що дорога, ніби змія, повертається й повзе в незвідану раніше сторону? Пані Доля завела нас сьогодні до здавалося б глухого села Новий Мартинів, що на Франківщині. І що я тут бачу: розлогі й широкі пагорби, річка, яка розливається стрімкими рукавами, Свята Гора над Дністром, яка нагадує мені місця паломництва у творах Пауло Коельйо.

And what I see here: wide and wide hills, a river that overflows with rapid branches, the Holy Mountain on the Dniester, which reminds me of places of pilgrimage in the works of Paulo Coelho.
Виявляється дана місцина є історичним поселенням, перша згадка про яке була 1470 року!
"30 січня 1470 року... Ельжбета зі Жмиґроду — донька кам'янецького старости Теодорика з Бучача, ... продала дві третини прав власності на Мартинів, третину подарувала Яну Ко́лі" - читаю у Вікіпедії. Польське поселення, яке існувало до часу першої письмової згадки!

Коли ми піднімалися на пагорб, в мене виникло питання: чому він претендує на історичність.
"20 червня 1624 року відбулась Битва під Мартиновим між... військом під командуванням гетьмана Станіслава Конєцпольського та під командуванням Томаша Замойського з одного боку та ордою татар, що поверталась зі здобиччю назад. Татари були розбиті." ( За матеріалами Вікіпедії). Ну от вона, відповідь.:) Ну і звичайно то не єдина причина.

Уявляю себе воїном, який з пагорба мужньо відбиває атаку ворожих військ, і отже цей пагорб стає його Захисником, і відповідно відношення до нього, як до Святої Гори.
Вдала атмосфера сучасної окультуреної Гори дійсно викликає відчуття себе прочанином у Святому місці. Крім Гори, існують в цих місцях і довгі підземні сполучення, які в давнину можливо допомагали воїнам таємно пересуватися між містами, планувати стратегію нападу, ховатися від нападника. Хтозна, які ще таємниця заховані під надрами цієї землі...

А отже сьогодні, щоб добратися до Нового Мартинова, не маючи власного транспорту, треба докласти неабияких зусиль! Таке враження, що захисні молитви давніх жителів цього місця й досі охороняють його від туземців і нападників. :)
Можливо саме віддаленість від траси, слабке транспортне сполучення й зберегли природу цього краю майже у первозданному вигляді: повітря здається солодким, трави манять до себе своєю насиченість, а поважний Дністер виблискує свіжістю прохолодних вод.

Perhaps it is the distance from the road, poor transport links and preserved the nature of this region almost in its original form: the air seems sweet, the grass attracts its saturation, and the respectable Dniester sparkles with the freshness of cool waters.
Ми намагаємося освоїти космічні простори, вилетіти за межі власної свідомості, і часто не звертаємо уваги на те, що у нас під ногами, замінюємо пошуками нових горизонтів вивчення тих незвіданих таїн, які є в нас самих.
Такий сакральний процес пізнання себе, доступний і близький кожному, здається не настільки важливим перед привабливістю підкорення нових вершин.
