Hace mucho tiempo surcando en la inmensidad del mar de internet, me encontré con una historia de un autor anónimo que me pareció sumamente interesante. Esta historia va relatada desde el punto de vista de alguien que sigue con vida, pero que aún así conoce lo que sucede cuando una persona decide quitarse la vida, más específicamente cuando deciden ahorcarse colgándose en algún sitio.
El título llamó mucho mi atención, y una vez que comencé a leer esta historia no pude detenerme ni un segundo.
Vuelta a atrás
En ella ( y aquí trataré de recordar lo mejor posible lo que decía, ya que por más que intenté nuevamente dar con el autor de esta historia o la obra original, no lo logré.) nos habla de todas esas personas, que a lo largo de los años la vida les ha dado diferentes razones para no querer permanecer más a este plano terrenal.
Ya fuese por un motivo familiar, amoroso, económico o un problema consigo mismo, muchas personas han llegado a considerar esta opción del suicidio como la más rápida solución a todas esas cosas malas que les ocurren.
Personalmente, pude conocer al menos a dos personas que lamentablemente llegaron a la conclusión de que esto era lo mejor para ellos, y quizás alguno de ustedes también ha vivido esta horrible experiencia de saber que alguien con quién hace poco reías y compartías, de un día a otro simplemente no está y el único motivo es su propia desición.
Por tal motivo, el autor explicaba brevemente cuales eran aquellas razones principales por las cuales las personas llegaban a tomar esta decisión.
Decía que, al estar al límite, estas personas luego de tanto pensar y pensar si lo harían o no, finalmente se decidían a hacerlo y escogían la manera más fácil y "menos dolorosa" de cometer el suicidio, la cual era ahorcarse.
Desición Final
Llegado el momento, situaban su cuerda en dónde decidían colgarse, pensaban una última vez si era lo mejor, y procedían a colocarse la soga en el cuello.
Luego de dar el golpe final, a ese objeto que te sostiene de pie, para pasar a estar colgando en el aire. La mente de las personas se veía en un increíble revuelo de pensamientos y emociones.
Arrepentimiento
Al estar ahí, las personas comenzaban a recordar toda su vida, todos los buenos momentos que vivieron, todas esas personas que valió la pena conocer y que hacían un poco más feliz cada uno de sus días y además a todas aquellas personas que dejarían totalmente devastadas al cometer el acto que en ese momento realizaban.
Pero que pasa, que al estár ahí, era casi imposible safarte de las cuerdas que te mantenían colgado.
Para evitar que ese "casi imposible" se convirtiera en imposible, todas las personas que luego de colgarse comenzaban a arrepentirse de sus actos, recibían una visita especial.
Una mirada a los ojos del demonio
De pie frente a ellas, aparecería el mismo Lucifer en persona. El cuál tomaría cada una de sus manos para luego dejar caer enormes lingotes de oro en ellas, haciendo así que por todo el peso que cargas comenzaras a caer y caer cada vez más, dirigiendote hacia una trágica muerte inevitable.
Si esto no era suficiente para la persona, además del peso que dejaba caer sobre ti, daría un gran salto para colocarse también sobre tus manos o tus hombros y finalizar la tarea que tú mismo comenzaste.
Está historia es díficil de corroborar, pero bien es cierto que incluye situaciones del día a día y que trasladandonos un poco a la mente del autor, quería darnos a entender la importancia de la sabia toma de decisiones en nuestra vida.
Una desición como esa, de finalizar con tu vida, simplemente nunca será lo mejor y será solamente un detonante de muchísimos más problemas que dejarás sin resolver, ya que no estarás presente en ninguno de ellos.
No sabemos si existe algo más allá de la muerte, si de verdad cuando no estemos podremos ver a nuestros seres queridos, todo es demasiado incierto, lo único real es, que estamos vivos, aquí y ahora y que la única forma de solucionar todos nuestros problemas no es huyendo, si no dando la cara y esforzándonos muchísimo por superarlos poco a poco.
Una historia corta, pero muy cargada de emociones y sentimientos que vivimos todos nosotros. Dándonos una perspectiva desde los ojos de aquellas personas, que toman una desición errada y que a última hora es imposible remediar.
Agradezco tanto a aquel autor anónimo por hacerme reflexionar ese día, y con cortas líneas, empezar a valorar mucho más mi vida.

Long ago sailing in the immensity of the internet sea, I came across a story by an anonymous author that I found extremely interesting. This story is told from the point of view of someone who is still alive, but still knows what happens when a person decides to kill themselves, more specifically when they decide to hang themselves by hanging themselves somewhere.
The title caught my attention, and once I started reading this story I couldn't stop for a second.
Turn Back
In it (and here I will try to remember as well as possible what he said, since no matter how hard I tried again to find the author of this story or the original work, I did not succeed.) He tells us about all those people, who throughout Over the years, life has given them different reasons for not wanting to remain on this earthly plane anymore.
Whether for a family reason, love, economic or a problem with himself, many people have come to consider this option of suicide as the fastest solution to all those bad things that happen to them.
Personally, I was able to meet at least two people who unfortunately concluded that this was the best for them, and perhaps some of you have also had this horrible experience of knowing that someone with whom you recently laughed and shared, one day someone else is simply not there and the only reason is your own decision.
For this reason, the author briefly explained what were the main reasons why people came to make this decision.
He said that, being at the limit, these people after so much thinking and wondering if they would do it or not, finally decided to do it and chose the easiest and "least painful" way to commit suicide, which was to hang themselves.
Final desición
When the time came, they placed their rope where they decided to hang themselves, thought one last time if it was the best, and proceeded to place the rope around their necks.
After giving the final blow, to that object that holds you upright, to happen to be hanging in the air. People's minds were in an incredible flurry of thoughts and emotions.
Repentance
Being there, people began to remember all their lives, all the good times they lived, all those people who were worth knowing and who made each of their days a little happier and also all those people who would leave totally devastated by committing the act they were performing at that time.
But what's up, being there, it was almost impossible to get off the ropes that kept you hanging.
To prevent that "almost impossible" from becoming impossible, all the people who after hanging themselves began to regret their actions, received a special visit.
A look into the eyes of the devil
Standing in front of them, Lucifer himself would appear. Which would take each of his hands and then drop huge gold bars into them, thus making for all the weight that you carry you begin to fall and fall more and more, heading towards an inevitable tragic death.
If this was not enough for the person, in addition to the weight he dropped on you, he would take a great leap to also place himself on your hands or your shoulders and finish the task that you started yourself.
This story is difficult to corroborate, but it is true that it includes day-to-day situations and that by moving a bit into the author's mind, he wanted to make us understand the importance of wise decision-making in our lives.

A decision like that, to end your life, will simply never be for the best and will only be a trigger for many more problems that you will leave unsolved, since you will not be present in any of them.
We do not know if there is something beyond death, if indeed when we are not there we can see our loved ones, everything is too uncertain, the only real thing is that we are alive, here and now and that the only way to solve all our Problems are not running away, but showing up and trying very hard to overcome them little by little.
A short story, but very full of emotions and feelings that all of us live. Giving us a perspective from the eyes of those people, who make a wrong decision and that at the last minute it is impossible to remedy.
I am so grateful to that anonymous author for making me reflect on that day, and with short lines, to begin to value my life much more.
