Your biggest problem.

in Freewriters3 years ago (edited)

I was thinking about what's the biggest problem people have, and I was immediately presented with a bunch of answers, some of them good, others not so much.

But what makes an answer good, and what makes it bad? Bad answers live at the surface they're shallow and deeply misleading, while good, or better answers are profound and address issues at a more fundamental level.

The most shallow answers people find as problems, might be centered around money time or relationships. But of course that's not a problem, it's a consequence of their actions, and their actions are a consequence of the way they think.

At a more deeper level, but still somewhere in the middle, people find the biggest problems being a lack of motivation, discipline, clarity or consistency.

Those are all valid answers and a great starting point, but there is something even deeper, which is this: unrealized potential.

To put things in perspective, motivation, discipline, clarity or consistency are just tools for you to realize your potential and become the best that you could be.
And so the problem is not that you don't have the tools, but because you don't have a clear plan to use them, you are missing a life project.

And interesting enough when you decide to become the best version of yourself, you're going to find the tools, in fact you're going to do discover that you had them all along.
