I'm starting to think that arthritis is the scourge of keyboard-users. There are days where it's just too painful to post, my left hand is quite badly affected. I've started to experiment with speech-to-text software, and come to the conclusion that I need to learn how to speak with an American accent for most of them, and work in a soundproofed room where background noises don't get added to the text 😁

It's been painful for me for decades. Thankfully, I've been retired for about ten years now. But when your career has been a keyboard warrior (positive) sitting at a desk for eight hours a day for the past 35 years, it took a toll.
You are right that it limits your abilities while working, but being to remain there for any length of time is murder on the knees for me. I don't know which one is worse, affecting the muscles (rheumatoid) or the joints (osteoarthritis), such as I suffer with. Thank God for the good days. If it weren't for the knee/shoulder/ankle and any other pad I can find, I wouldn't be able to sit or stand for more than 15 minutes at a time.
All I know is that it's painful and can last for days or weeks when flare ups happen. Having numerous underlying conditions (such as Type 2 Diabetes meds) hamper any attempts to reduce my arthritis condition. It's a revolving door for me.
Setting up and maintaining a community is a task I'm unable to undertake at this stage of my life. I'm been a Mod in a few communities and worked behind the scenes, so it's a daunting task if you can't devote 100% energy and time. An excellent idea, though.
The speech-to-text is an exciting technology beneficial to many.
I'm just thankful that my mind is still somewhat intact and working (I think) to full capability. Thanks so much for your engagement. Take care.

I worked with that for longer. Dragon was good also in own language. I tried google but my phone doesn't want to cooperate
