Hello Hive poetry fans. I found a treasure trove of fantastic poetry that was written by my late stepfather Alan Borgh. I would like to take the opportunity to share Al's poems freely with the entire Hive community.
American Night
roll on into the deep American night
into the bone-chilling stillness
that knows how to wait
the murmurings of danger and fear unseen
but felt
haunt the night
terror softly and surely seeping in
turn and stare
no one's there
only the icy stars
and the silent void

Hello @andre-verbrick. I just stopped by to say "thanks" for deciding to support my ZAPFIC50 Friday post. I appreciate it.
What I found instead was this lovely poem.
So descriptive I can picture the icicles luminous as they hang.
Thanks for sharing it. Take care and have a good start to your weekend.
