RE: Why No One Reads What You Write: A Masterclass In Communication

What a great post @ryzeonline!

Just got done reading (an hour later - cause I'm a "methodical/logical" reader). 🤣

And regarding this 👇

“Hey Hivers, I’m finally getting around to writing this post of random thoughts I had on cancel-culture and stuff--”

Your daughter's intro may have benefited from my post here: Write EVERYTHING Better With This Pro Writing Hack... 🤯 (w/examples)

On the note of communication, I had a gypsy friend whose grandfather used to tell him:

"Every conversation is like a business negotiation. Everyone should leave with more than they came to the table with."

Back when I was running and gunning - I took this to heart and used it to build trust and valuable relationships (albeit, with all the WRONG people 😅). Today, I try to apply the same advice to every area of my life.

It's a struggle though, overcoming the ego and selfish tendencies. They have a finicky way of sneaking up and hiding themselves in the most unlikely and counterintuitive portions of the psyche.

But those who read your post carefully (and your daughter, of course) have surely leaped planets in their ability to communicate effectively and with the audience in mind...

Awesome value!

I appreciate the kind words, and I'm grateful you read logically/methodically, it's a blessing.

Hahah, you're totally right, she may have benefitted from that post indeed. Unfortunately Emma is completely fictional, and merely parrots what I wish her to, and what I wished is for her to write a shitty post with a lame openning line. So... like any fictional character, she obeyed her author. :)

I love that quote from your friend's grandfather, it nicely summarizes my giant piece. Hehe.

Sounds like you learned a lot from your running-and-gunning days.

I have a lot of faith that life/the universe will keep my ego 'handled' and serving me well, like it has for years, but I totally get your point and maintain my own vigilance on it as well.

I've written about 'quality content' before, and did do my best to elevate people's communication with this piece, (in a different way than most communication teachers do,) so I'm glad you found value in it. #KeepRyzing ! 🙏
