Jarris, un hombre solitario del pueblo, vivía en soledad. Poco se sabía de su vida, siempre se le veía cabizbajo al pasar, como si llevara un peso sobre sus hombros que no le permitía caminar erguido. Los habitantes del pueblo le tenían miedo por su aspecto oscuro y sombrío. Un día, unos adolescentes curiosos idearon un plan para espiarlo en su casa.Encontraron un túnel subterráneo que atravesaba toda la ciudad. Recordaron que en algún momento habían escuchado que la casa de Jarris estaba conectada a este túnel, por lo que tomaron la decisión de aventurarse a explorarlo .Era la medianoche cuando entraron en el túnel con velas encendidas y comenzaron a caminar. Michael, uno de los adolescentes, de repente sintió un intenso frío y escalofríos, así que decidió regresar. Por otro lado, Cristofer y David estaban muy intrigados y decidieron seguir adelante. Después de caminar durante 40 minutos, empezaron a percibir un olor desagradable, similar al de un cuerpo en estado de descomposición. A pesar del miedo que sintieron, decidieron continuar caminando. De pronto, Un lamento resonó, se escuchaba desde el interior de las paredes. Era tan estruendoso que Cristofer y David, sobresaltados, salieron corriendo despavoridos, bajando las escaleras de un solo impulso sin siquiera pensarlo. Ahora, el camino de regreso estaba sumido en la oscuridad, ya que habían dejado sus velas en aquella casa.Corrieron a toda velocidad como si alguien estuviera detrás de ellos, hasta que finalmente vieron una luz al final del túnel. Justo en ese momento, el amanecer comenzaba a iluminar el horizonte. Al salir, se encontraron con Jarris parado en la entrada del túnel. Lo observaron fijamente a los ojos por primera vez y notaron que tenía una mirada perdida y ausente. Cristofer se asustó tanto que se hizo orino y David quedó completamente paralizado, mientras que Harris los ignoró y se adentró en el túnel.Cristofer y David, exhaustos con sus piernas temblorosas, lograron regresar a casa como pudieron. Now, the way back was plunged into darkness, since they had left their candles in that house. They ran at full speed as if someone was behind them, until finally they saw a light at the end of the tunnel. Just then, dawn was beginning to light up the horizon. As they exited, they found Jarris standing at the entrance to the tunnel. They looked him straight in the eyes for the first time and noticed that he had a lost and absent look. Cristofer was so scared that he wet himself and David was completely paralyzed, while Harris ignored them and went deeper into the tunnel. Cristofer and David, exhausted with their trembling legs, managed to return home as best they could. The next day, they met with Michael and told him in detail what they had experienced the night before. And they both concluded that Harris was not a human being, but rather a wandering soul wandering through time and space. Michael was completely surprised and taken aback by this revelation.

Lógicamente que la escribí en español primero, porque es mi lengua materna, no manejo el inglés, si lee la publicación se dará cuenta que use un traductor Google.
