I use to say I'm fine 90% of the time because it was safer that way even when it hurt deep inside.

Totally. We'll only swallow our words and emotions when we don't feel safe expressing how we truly feel. 🤗

Until I met that special one, who knows how and when to listen. Then gradually, I started learning to heal and be totally free.
