Happy week everyone. It's been a while since I've joined one of these Freewriters community mini-fiction writing challenges, the Zapfic.
So here's my entry for this week's ZapficMonday theme Pace.
He turns off the alarm and jumps out of bed. He stops in the toilet and washes his face.
He makes coffee, pours it into his favorite mug, and looks out the window towards the mountains.
He smiles, ready to start a new day at his own pace.
