As the Scriptures say in Sirach 33:14, “There is good against evil, and death against life, and evil against good, and darkness against light”.
This applies to the principle, of how something of the wicked has to do with power, but not the power to generate but the power to control and manipulate, degrading the other so as not to feel diminished.
There is a permanent need to ask ourselves about the being and meaning of evil and how human beings can confront it.
