The 48 Laws of Power is a book that breaks down political and military power throughout history in the form of "laws." Greene breaks down the actions and tells the story some of the most influential and powerful people throughout history and goes over what made these people successful. Greene does a good job at identifying the downfall and uprising of these figures and organizes the basic concepts of power within these laws, but where I personally found an issue within his writing is the amount of times he seems to contradict himself with these laws. He acknowledges this a time or two within the book but he could have done a better job at telling the audience how to obey these laws in regards to the laws hes already covered. Overall the book was an enjoyable read and I would recommend this book for anyone who is interested in politics, history, "light" philosophy, and people who want to advance their careers and have tools to further their success.
