Diverse things are prohibited from one locality to the next. Restriction on some kind of food, music, language, dressing, religion and even love.
The love restrictions was the case of Romeo and Juliet of William Shakespeare's wright. The 1997 titanic movie a had restriction on whom to love based on social class, if only Jack was wealthy and noble, he didn't need to the the richest on board.
The same is the restriction between Demian and Diana in this tale of finding love across the borders. The restriction is not of social class, nor of religion or language. It was based on centuries of unresolved dispute between the couple's nations. Demian is a crowned prince of Jewelboard, a coal mining nation, rich in technology and intellectuals. Their people's wealth is large disbursed into acquiring weapons of war, mostly against Diana's people.
Diana was the last daughter and princess of Mile-Oasis, a predominantly farming nation. They possess so much wealth everyone lived in abundance. They has water bodies for fish farming as well as exporting agricultural produce to nations of the world. Mile-Oasis is rich in art and culture and well instructed in magic and sorcery. It was their major defense against Jewelboard.
Diana and Demian for years have secretly met themselves at the countries border in a cave no one ever knew about, not any one alive then though. They discussed and as time passed, they knew they had to make their relationship known. Demian promised to tell his father that very night, and hopefully, they'll have to form a truce with Diana's people. "Do you know a spell that can make my father less furious, but more agreeing to what I'm about to discuss with him?" Demian asked his beloved. His hands were arround her and eyes locked together. Their heart has been beathing synchronously as well as their breath. Diana took her time to process what Demian asked. She knew it was a possibility, there should be a socerer in Mile-Oasis with such kind of spell, a compelling spell that never wears off. One that can work on a high profiled person like a king. After giving it a brief not too indepth thought, she replied him. "Demian, as much as I'm tempted to source for you this magic, I do believe it stains our love. It will no longer be pure and alluring. Tell him without enchantments" Demian understood Diana's point, but he knew his father. He has always been a man of logic and doesn't give room for emotions. "What if he fails to see what I see?" Demian said, "What if he looks at you and only see trouble, and years of slaughter that has been? My father is brave, he has hearts of his fathers"
Diana, trying to be positive replied him. "You want enchantments don't you? You have the greatest of all with you. The love of a father to his son. It will make him consider. If truly you are his prince, you inherited his person, you have his blood in you, and his heart as well. I know you and I know you're a man of love. Your father definitely doesnt have a heart of stone, he's of a truth a lover like you. My aunt told me a tale of how your father once saved her life"
Demian was astounded. She has never mentioned this before. The father he grew up with is a warrior and a killer, a detester of Mile-Oasis life. Once there was a war between the two nations and wonderful spoils were brought into the nation. The king take a look at the fat cows, green vegetables or golds. He destroyed them all even when his counsels asked him to trade the spoils.
"I never heard such tales from my father. I'll do well to charm him tonight and be hopeful. Pray to your gods, I know they hear and have ability to influence his mind. I know they used to be our gods too, tell them that if they let our love be. I'll bring them back into my kingdom when I'm crowned king"
The two lovers spent more time assuring eachother that their love will live to see more days and that it will eventually outlive their own lives. They bid eachother goodnight as the sky darkens and the moon along with the stars began to surface. Demian got to the palace. He called the wine server to himself.
"What is father doing?!" Demian asked. The wine dresser bowed his head as he approached the young prince. "Evening my prince, your father the king just had a meeting with the chief warlord on a delicate matter."
"I see, has he had anything to drink or eat?"
"No my prince, he has not had wine today because he wants to be in a clear state of mind, he however has had meals served to him thrice today"
"Prepare your finest wine Vincent" said the prince, "serve him. I have a proposal to place before him."
"Yes, my prince" said the wine server.
He called for his servants to get him his harp, "...put it at a corner close to his throne. I would love to play for my father and make his heart merry"
"Yes, my prince" replied the two setvants as they hurried to execute the prince instruction.
"I shall play for my father" said the prince to himself. "I will soothe his heart and calm his mind, make his blood less fury and bring out tenderness out of him. I'll play him mother's music and in all, he'll ask me to make a wish. Then I shall confess my love for a woman across the borders to him."
The prince after been told all was set, he entered the throne. "Greeting father!"
"How are you son? I haven't seen you all day."
"Yes father, I went on inspection today, all mining sites that belonged to the royal house. There is good news, new sites are being discovered, one of which the chief miner told me there is abundance of diamonds"
"Diamonds?! That's great news! You always brought good news to me, never for once a bad report"
"I'm glad to hear that father. It's always my intention to solve all shortcomings so I can always bring delightful news to you. I have yet another one but I'll keep that for now, when it is time, it will ripen and you shall hear it. You'll be glad, you'll be the happiest father"
"While not spill it now? I've had good news all day. My warlord brought me more good news and I have called for vine dressers to prepare wine, we shall merry tonight"
"What is the good news father?"
"My warlords captured the first daughter of Rabel, King of Mile-Oasis"
"What?!"
"Suprised eh?! She was captured at Groomble Town where she went to meet her lesbian lover. Our soldiers there recognised her and captured her. She is here with her lover locked in the royal prison"
"What do you intend to do with her father? She's of no use to us. We shoukd be going after her father"
"Yes, we're going for the bigger price, the king of Mile-Oasis and his army, they'll all be destroyed along with their riches, people and land. And never will anyone ever inhabit their lands."
