I remember one time, he was around 8 years old, I got him a remote control truck, it was not expensive but not cheap and the next day every screw that held it together was out and pieces spread across the living room floor. He wanted to see how it worked.
I have to say out of the 5 lids, he is the most creative.
One of my sons was just like them, always taking things apart to see how they worked.
It is not uncommon ... it is a good trait in the sense that an engineer's mind works like that. Hard to live with, though ...
