"Don't eat it" Philip said to Rose who held the mushroom In between her teeth as she looked at Philip puzzled.
"It's poisonous," he added. Quickly she spit out the bolus of it that she was chewing and wondered why such a beautiful mushroom contained poisonous chemicals. She rinsed her mouth in a nearby stream, scared if the few she had chewed could harm her.
Rose and her colleagues had gone for an excursion in a park filled with mushrooms and just before they left, she noticed a red mushroom standing alone at the far end of the park. Beside it were sparse grasses. She plucked the mushroom and held it, feeling its soft edible cap. She had chewed a part of it when Philip warned her.
"Is that why the mushroom is planted separately?' she asked.
"It must have grown like a weed," he replied.
They walked around the field and noticed more of the red mushroom sparsely distributed among the woods. They seemed to be positioned far from the other mushrooms at the extreme end of the park.
"Do you think they're all weeds?" Rose asked when she noticed more of the Red mushrooms.
"I don't think so, they're positioned logically, I think the Gardener had planted them with purpose" Philip said.
The sun was setting and the atmosphere was getting dark when Rose and her colleagues decided to go home . She was glad she learned about the poisonous mushroom and was determined to go tell her friends and how it had taught her not to eat anything she sees on the feed .

@dwixer, great imagination!:)
She's lucky to have spit it out and not have gotten any reaction. For a moment, I was scared for her. It's a good thing Philip knew about the mushroom and warned her on time!
Yeah, who knows what would have happened to her if she had swallowed much. Glad you read through
I thought she would get sick. I wonder why the mushrooms grow there..they choose the spot themselves. No Gardner can plant them. Perhaps they protect something?
Thanks for joining pic1000! 👍
