Cordy instantly felt a connection with Rooney in a way that she had never felt before. He has a magnetic personality and she could never resist his pull, not that she wanted to anyways. It was just like they have always been.
Rooney felt the same, it wasn't easy tearing his gaze away from her beautiful face. She had a permanent blush which tinted her cheeks with the colour of roses and it was harder still, stopping himself from gathering her tenderly into his arms. She had this innocence about her, like a little child but he also knows how very deep and romantic she could be.
He could feel her warmth and the cackling electricity, pulling them closer, towards each other.
A head-on collision was inevitable.
He was hot and needed some fresh air before he lost all control. The more time they spent together, the more he didn't want to ever go away from her.
As the sun began to set in the soft hues of the approaching moonlight, Rooney suggested they take a walk along the beach close by.
He needed the ocean breeze to clear his befuddled mind.
They walked hand in hand along the seashore, their silhouette silhouetted against the setting Sun, watching the waves crash against the sand. The sky was painted in shades of pink and blue, and the air was cool and crisp.
At a secluded spot on the beach, they break apart, now facing each other, their eyes locked in unspoken words, with breathless and pounding hearts, they hold each other close, their lips meeting in the union of two inseparable beats.
They spent the next few hours talking and laughing, their happy voices ringing out and merging with the gentle crash of the tidal waves. They were savouring each other's company, holding each other in warmest embrace, oblivious of the silvery light cast by the rising Moon and the black grey of the dancing night Stars. It was magical, no, it was beyond magic. They have found something special, the magic to last a lifetime.
Cordy," Rooney said, as he took her delicate hands in his. "I have something to tell you."
Cordy looked at him, and her heart skipped several beats. She felt uncountable flutters swimming in her stomach.
"I know we have only just met, for the very first time today but I feel like I have known you forever, I love the way I'm feeling right now, by your side, and I want it to be forever" Rooney said, as he looked passionately into her eyes, the Stars capturing the dark storms there "I think I'm falling in love with you."
Cordy felt a tear trickle down her cheek. She had never felt so happy in her life. She looked at Rooney, and she knew that this was true love, the love that she had been waiting for, forever.
"I love you too, Rooney," Cordy said, as she leaned in to kiss him. And he was just waiting, as he drew her passionately into his arms, claiming her lips as his precious prize....
