So here goes, again: This is my first time participating in HiveFest. First time participating in a Virtual Reality ("VR") event. In fact, I do not own any VR devices. Thankfully, we are still able to participate without a VR device; as there is an option to join without a VR device.
I really enjoy creating avatars and characters even for gaming purposes and this time around I've created my avatar as above.๐ช๐ฝ๐
As this is my first time, I am truly looking forward to the experience and activities that will be held.
In terms of user experience and ease of registration, it is pretty direct and straight forward even for a newbie like me. For me, it took less than 10 minutes to complete the registration, with a relatively good internet connection. The creation of the avatar took slightly longer as I was torn between two dresses and contemplating too much on the colours and design.๐คฃ๐

Hope you have loads of fun, I tried last year and yes it was fun for the short while I was able to connect. You will meet some super Hive Members who join in this event.
With our bad connection, due to electricity outages I doubt I will try this time round, will catch the video feedback, like your dress and avatar sure to stand out!

Running blackouts have been happening in South Africa since 2008, no sight of total repairs in the foreseen future either! Currently in 2.5 hours outage x3 times per day.....
Black dress with fire-engine red trim and read hair would look smart! Have fun designing the ideal outfit for the venture, it truly is a lot of fun!

Many places suffering from different difficulties, we have to learn to adapt as we go.
