SourceWhen I was just a kid, I used to wonder why anyone would take their own life by committing suicide. It made absolutely no sense and I would think of all the good things life had to offer. Especially the delicious food, action movies, games etc and will wonder to myself why anyone will give up all these. Now that I'm older and can see the World in a different light right now, I totally get it.
As a kid, I only saw what people wanted me to see but now I know better. Beyond the smile and happy looks people portray, most are going through a lot and doing their possible best to hide it. Sometimes, it just gets too much to handle and instead of seeking for help, they chose suicide as the easy way out. The truth is, the World comes with a lot of pressure and this just gets to so many people. I can attest to this. There are times I feel like my head will burst open from the so many things going through my mind.
Not everybody is strong enough to handle this pressure. The World judges most people harshly for some of their mistakes and some people just cannot stand it at all. If only we would learn to judge less and try to be more understanding and accommodating. Just give a listening ear sometimes, maybe things will be way better. Don't be so quick to judge someone when you have not been through what they have or experienced what they have. They say experience is the best teacher.
Always remember this, beyond the smile there is hurt somewhere in there. People are going through a lot. And you can help by not judging them but rather giving a listening ear and showing empathy.

I wish people will choose to open up on their issues more and not hide it behind smiles smiles instead.
I think we are all guilty of this. It would be nice if we told the truth as to how we feel but I do not see it changing.
