Yep. Corporate interests and other factors prevent even the most commonsensical of preventive measures.
Americans do not need to waive their rights to bear arms (in fact some countries like ours would benefit from such right), but there are preventive measures that can be taken to stop these painful tragedies.
It would be great if this particular tragedy became the straw that will finally break the ... camel's back.
