Giving excuses is an art, and very few people can master it. When I hear the word excuse, I immediately remember one of my college friends who used to come late in first class. I have never seen him attend class on time. When the teacher asked him the reason, he gave many excuses. We used to enjoy it every day as it was fun for us. How one person can give reasonable excuses every day made me surprised.

For various kinds of reasons, people give an excuse to protect themselves. Sometimes those are reasonable, and we believe them easily, and some are hard to believe. Today I am going to share some unbelievable excuses I heard from others.
In school life, there were some common excuses, which were unbelievable. One of my classmates was absent from school for several days, and when he came to school, the class teacher asked the reason. He said that his grandfather died a few days ago, and because of that reason, he was absent from school. I think the teacher didn't believe his word either, but the teacher let him go. All of us who heard it started to laugh secretly, as it was hard to believe for us because we had seen him every day in the field, and he never mentioned it, and neither was he sad about the loss of his grandfather. Moreover, how could he have the mood to play in such a situation? Later, when I visited his house, his grandfather was doing well. I asked that classmate if his grandfather knew that he killed him in school. It was indeed a funny but unbelievable excuse for most of us.
A few years ago, one of our professors told us to make a field report. It was a group task, and there were a total of 5 members in my group, where I was the group leader. When we were going to collect data, one of them said, "Last night, I took marijuana and can't do anything in data collection.". There was no sign that he was feeling unwell, and since morning he was quite good, but when it came to doing fieldwork, he felt unwell. It was ridiculous, and other group members were angry about how he skipped the work. We were not fools to believe his words. Other group members also refuse to do work for such a kind of action. For fairness, I said whoever would not contribute to group work must be eliminated from the group, and when I submitted the report, I didn't submit his name in my group report. The professor scolded him, and later he needed to do the same thing on his own without anyone's help. I think he deserved it.
When someone says any excuse related to ghosts, it's unbelievable. We were supposed to submit a hatchery layout to the professor. One of my classmates told us that the ghost ruined the layout that was drawn by him. Let me explain. He said he had done all the tasks and kept it on his table, and after that, he went to sleep. When he woke up, he saw his layout was wet and ruined. The water came from a glass that was on the table. He said that he didn't have any glass on the table at nighttime and even if there were a glass. That must be a paranormal activity. Hmm. The story was quite interesting, and his storytelling was quite good, but it was not a logical explanation. So nobody believed his story. He might give us an excuse otherwise, trying to make us fools. Whatever, I enjoyed his story.

There's no space for excuses in this harsh world. It's better to accept our faults and work on them. Like your classmate, is not that lame? I enjoyed reading you. 🙌🙌
Even if the excuses are lame, they choose to use it to defend themselves. I think at lest some reasonable reason must be stated as an excuse so that we can consider the person deserve another opportunity or not. In the end, people won't leave the habit.
