Hello...

I once posted on social media. The post was a question actually to people who graduated from the University more than 5-10 years ago.

"What advice will you give to a fresh University graduate?"

That was the question.

As a good comment reader that I am, I read and digested some of the comments and of course the healthy and reasonable ones.

There were responses like:
"learn a skill"
"improve in your skill"
"start up a business, nothing is too small"

One thing that struck me was that most of these comments came from people who have experienced that living without a skill or knowledge that can help you is like inviting poverty and depression upon yourself.

And it is important for you to know that a younger person that knows them and has seen that they not only advice but follow through with their own advice will easily heed to their advice and work on themselves.

What am I saying?

You can't tell someone to do what you haven't done. It's very hard to do that in the generation I live in. You'll have to master certain skills to be able to convince them.

Tell someone to learn a skill that will give him/her a comfortable life tomorrow. The person will first look at you and evaluate your life then proceed to ask you if you've done the same and the results so far.

What experience do you have so far?
