In the small town of Olorunleke, Obantoko Abeokuta Ogun State Nigeria.
there lived a young boy named Taju. Taju was not the richest boy, but he had a special gift—he could fix things. If a chair broke, he would mend it. If a shoe tore, he would sew it. People in the town always called him when something needed repair.
One evening, Mama Bola, the food seller, was in tears. Her large cooking pot had a big hole, and she couldn’t cook for the night market. "What will I do now?" she cried. People gathered around, shaking their heads.
Taju stepped forward and smiled. "Mama Bola, don’t worry. I can fix it."
She looked at him in doubt. "Taju, this hole is too big!"
"Just give me a chance," Taju said confidently.
He took the pot and went behind his small house. With a piece of metal, fire, and his old hammer, he got to work. Tap! Tap! Tap! Sweat dripped down his face as he carefully sealed the hole.
After hours of work, he returned the pot to Mama Bola. "Try it now," he said, his eyes shining.
Mama Bola poured water inside. Everyone watched in silence. No leak! The crowd erupted in cheers. "Taju, you did it!"
That night, Mama Bola cooked and sold her food as usual. She gave Taju a big plate of jollof rice with meat. "This is for you, my son. You saved my business."
Taju smiled as he ate. He didn’t need riches to feel important. He just took pride in adding value and making life easier for everyone
