Talent vs. Hidden Talent
There are two types of talent: talent and hidden talent. The majority of people or everyone are aware of talent. However, hidden talent is something that only a selected few people, or in certain situations, the individual who possesses it, know.
That is what I believe; I may be mistaken. If so, feel free to correct me.
What is my Talent?
Well, to be quite honest, I know very little about these things. Because, in my eyes, I'm simply a regular girl with abilities that practically everyone possesses. Additionally, especially today, I am unable to identify anything about myself that may be called talent.
But even if there's one thing I'm certain of, it's that I should always go with my guts. I also know that I pick up things quickly, which I suppose is one of my talents.
The fact that the majority of my professors tell me this indicates that I am a quick learner. I was given the following titles by my instructors during my studies:
- Cheetah 🐆🐅: Cheetah runs fast; I don't run fast, but I pick things up very quickly, and that is why.
- The Fast Learner: as the title says, I guess I don't need to explain it further.
- Dolphin 🐬: In high school, one of the titles I've received from my professor is for "keeping in view and being so friendly to everyone."
- Quiner: This is the funny name or title that my principal has given me. Quiner is a combination of the first and final three letters of the term "Quick Leaner", not a separate word. My principal claims that saying "quick learner" requires more time than I would have taken to understand what it means. So it should be unique and reflect my abilities. The majority of my classmates would tease me about my name, LOL.
What is my Hidden Talent?
Now let's talk about hidden talent. I don't learn things as others do, especially in my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. I also do not study like others, staying up late to repeat each and every question.
- I just revise as if someone has given me something to proofread.
That is correct; I do not enjoy other things; I simply revise them in order to recall forgotten or hidden things in my subconscious.
And that is my hidden talent. Nobody knows about it. Well, not nobody, as a few already knew, and now you people also know about it. That implies that the hidden is no longer hidden.
