Silver coins they were used from ancient time and its considered oldest mass form the coinage. Silver coins are one of the most popular ways to bypass against price increase and balance selected risk in the financial services.
During ancient Greeks the famous Drachmas were minted as a silver trade coin. This means that while the Romans were minting silver Denarii in Rome, silver coins were not being minted in the provinces because the Romans believed that only a part of a polity so esteemed silver.
