There was only one thing she perceived. Reconciliation. That was all she needed or wanted. But the pleasant sensation was as cold as her dying body. Life had ceased to interest her. She looked indifferently at the figure of the old woman slumped in the chair. She no longer felt anything for her. Why, neither did she. She understood that it was only a temporary cover. For her, for an entity that people would call a soul.
Confused, she waited to see what would happen next.

The presence disappeared in the scent of sandalwood. A nervousness came over her. Still nothing happened. The tension, the sandalwood emptiness and the passing of time.
Suddenly, as if a bell had tolled the whole, she realized she was home. No houses, no cars, no cathedrals. Nothing. Just pure existence.

"So how was it?", the woman next to her asked curiously.
"What?", she didn't understand.
"Well, your punishment."
"Punishment? I lived for punishment?"
