In a quiet bedroom, John sits with his eyes fixed on his pet. The only companion he had was Josy, whom he usually calls the house pet. Josy has been a true and loyal friend to John for years, making neighbors call them JSquare. The memory was incomparable; he was always seen with John, literally everywhere he went.
Taking Josy away from John was ending the pet's life. One day, he left for work and came back without seeing Josy in the four corners of the house. He went around checking out Josy's favorite spots, but was nowhere to be found. He was tired and sad at the same time, thinking about where his only best friend had gone.
Josy, who had never been like that, was lying sluggishly under John's bed. His eyes were dull, and his weakness made it obvious that he wasn't okay. John, hearing some noise under the bed, wondered why Josy would prefer to hide instead of welcoming him.
Immediately, he bent, brought Josy out, and wrapped him in himself. He looked pale, coupled with the freezing weather. Without wasting time, he laid him on the bed and covered him with a blanket. During the long night of sleep, he began to recover with full energy for play as usual. John noticed that and felt happy again.
After a long night, the folks wake up by each other's sides.
"You look better now; please don't be sick again. I got scared yesterday." John said, rubbing Josy's head playfully.
In response, he wagged his tail, accompanied by a happy bark.

STOPFor sure it's a shock if your best friend is gone and next turns out to be hidden underneath the bed. What a surprise he woke up in a better condition and both can spend more time together.
