Amazingly written and easy to understand. Sometimes three things can get over complicated. I need to get some chores done, then I want to start I part two.
There is one thing I would like to add in the debate of censorship with regards Hive. If a post has been downvoted to zero or muted in a community, while you may still be able to link it and invite people to view it, the first thing those people will still see is a warning that the post had been hidden due to muting or reputation, etc. They then have to click to view the post with a preconception now already in their mind as to how they are expected to view this post. So while the censorship may not be as extreme as other social media, it still exerts it beyond Hive's borders in subtler ways.
I'm glad you got enjoyed the post. You're right, and it's why I aimed to simplify things.
I agree with you, just as there exist subtle power dynamics ('shadow-politics'), there are also subtle forms of censorship, and I do touch briefly on this part two, but you've done so much better in your comment here, so thank you for that. 🙏
I'm confident you'll enjoy part 2, and wishing you a smooth block of chores and a great night!
Just finished part two and see you touch on the subtleties of censorship with the Mia analogy. Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
These are all concepts and facts of human nature that often tumble around in my head, but I don't think I could ever convey them as well as you have done here.
Glad you enjoyed part two! I aimed to cover some nuances and subtleties. :)
I'm passionate about human nature, and am honored to convey things well.
Your comments brightened my morning up nicely, thanks so much! 🙏
Glad to hear that. 😊
Lots of food for thought all around here.
P.S. Thanks very much for attempting to clarify things in that other gentleman's post, I really appreciate it. 🙂👌🙏
Haha! I just made a joke about that in my new post. 😂😂😂
