WHEN PIGS FLY 4.

Sabrina stood in the living room. Her bags packed and ready by the door. She had made the decision to take the next step, even if it meant leaving her mother.

"Sabrina, please, stay back. I need you here." Her mother sat on the chair, her eyes filled with tears. "Who will stay with me if you leave?"

Sabrina felt a pang of guilt but she needed to be firm in her decisions. She had been taking care of her mother, staying around her, unable to fulfill her dreams.

"Mom, you have a boyfriend. I love you, but I need to do this. I need to follow my determination."

She shook her head. "You're making a huge mistake. I promise, you'll come back crawling when you realize you can't do anything on your own."

Sabrina took a deep breath and hung her bags on her arms. "There's no need of arguing with you, Mom. This is my decision and I'm going to run with it."

She opened the door and walked out, not minding her mother's protests and tears.

She felt a sense of freedom as she walked away from the limiting life she had ever known. It wasn't going to be easy, but she was ready to take the leap of faith. This was her opportunity to chase her dreams and nothing was stopping her.

Sabrina moved to a new city, with high hopes. She was ready to make a name for herself in the art world. But, the city wasn't as she imagined - it was tough. The competition was so fierce, she wanted to return home. She struggled so hard to find a job. All her savings were going down.

The art studios she applied to seemed uninterested in giving her a chance. As time went by, she began to doubt her talent.

One day, she received an eviction notice from the landlord. Tears filled her eyes and she wondered if she made a mistake leaving her mother's house in thd first place.

She wiped away the tears after remembering what brought her out and she took up her paintbrush, pouring all her feelings onto the canvas.

She finished the painting and it was such a masterpiece. She gave it a name - resilience - because it reflected all of her struggles and determination.

She knew she was going to find a way to pay up her rent. She took a picture of the painting and uploaded it on social media. Colour her shocked when a local art gallery reached out to her, requesting to feature her work in their next exhibition.

Sabrina was over the moon. She wasn't going to let this slip pass her. When the big day arrived, she was ready.

The exhibition was a success and she was the star of the show.

As she looked at the crowd of people admiring her art, she felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. Despite her setbacks, she had persevered.

To be continued.
