ACCEPTANCE.

So simple. An everyday word. "I accept" people say, but do they mean it!? Mostly Not.

Acceptance is powerful. It's a force of nature unlike anything else.

We as mortals search for happiness in everywhere else other than ourselves. We find it in people, in materials, in places etc.

But you know what.

Happiness is Acceptance
Happiness=Acceptance.

George Orwell Said " Happiness can only exist in Acceptance"

And I live by that.

1. Accept people for who they are-

We all come from different backgrounds, color, race and ethnicity. We may have a similar story when it comes to school and college, but our foundations our nurture will always be different as is our finger prints.

People may say things, which may seem offensive to you, but you need to accept that its coming from his/her perspective, from his/her view point which comes from an amalgamation from all his/her life experiences. The experience's combine together to process any information in front.

Which will always be different from yours as your life experiences are different.

Lets say you hear good or bad. Accept it.

Example: My friend comes and tells me things he doesn't like about my religion. I find it offensive sometimes. But I accept it cause I know where it comes from. His life experiences combines together and forms an opinion that, my religion doesn't fit his model of life. #Acceptance.

Now I can hate my friend for what he has said. But then I have to hate everyone who I come across saying something offensive to me or I can understand his model by using a powerful tool called Acceptance. I think we will have a much happier life when we go for the latter choice.

Some people thrive on putting others down. They become a bully of sorts. But know that, they may have been bullied all there life by their father, elder brother or a loved one. That becomes a norm to them. They feel that's the way to treat everyone. Counter such people with kindness and compassion. They need it the most.

2. Accept situations for what it is.

Life is a series of situations.

"Because of this situation I am here today" or "Because of that situations I am in the hospital today"

So what!? Accept it.

You lost your job!?. Analyze the situation why and how. Look for areas you can improve and upskill.

Maybe an untimely calamity fell upon you. Accept it. Yes it happened. Maybe I did bad to someone else #karma and that's the reason for this untimely calamity. Maybe I was clumsy and wasn't careful.

Oh! "My girlfriend broke up with me!", "She cheated on me". So what!? Maybe it was your fault and maybe she wasn't the one. Whatever it is accept it. Don't turn into a sad soul and become a alcoholic or an addict.

Whatever the situation. Acceptance is the only solution.

Do what you have to, to get out of situations. Foremost accept it. Don't ponder over it.

Example: In an accident you broke your leg. Now you have two choice lay in bed the rest of 6 weeks bed rest after surgery or use that time to read some books and learn some new online skills.

If you have accepted your situation you would go with the latter choice. At the end of 6 weeks you could become much more wiser or an expert in coding.

That's how powerful Acceptance is.

Acceptance=Happiness
