Usually, everyone has this nagging voice in our head telling us what to do at both the right and wrong time. Then you feel overwhelmed by the uncontrollable voices in your head that never stop or cease to quiet down?

A voice that you hear in your head which would make you think your reality is blurry in the sense that you won't be able to differentiate what is real and what is unreal. When we go through hard times,we don't always think further or deeply but, rather we listen to our inner voices letting them take over!

Your passion is to live your life but thinking what other people would say or justify you for? Or what your parents and society are going to say? You are taking the voice in your head after virtually all of us listen to the voice despite it being good or bad.

Nowadays procrastinating is common amongst us because the voice in our head keeps telling us tomorrow and when the tomorrow comes,it's the same thing we are going to continue doing and saying. We all procrastinate but how do we advocate our way out of the voices of procrastinating in the head and most especially the voices taking over at all times?

WHY DO WE PROCRASTINATE?

Surely, there would be many reasons we procrastinate in our various lives like how busy we are,or how tired we are,or how we don't even feel like doing what we intend to do. Sit down and think things through why we procrastinate.

We might have a schedule or time table we intend on using, but the voices in our head keep on telling us we can do the reading for example tomorrow or any other day but not this day. Creating the time table is one step to avoid procrastination but the day you start using the timetable, you would have more time dedicated to what you intend on doing.

HOW IMPORTANT IS IT?

One can not measure how important you have to do something until the time comes. However we choose to decide if it is important or not important, then if it is important one should not write it down on the schedule or timetable but rather we should start work on it immediately.

When you don't choose to do it,it's because you lack motivation or dedication, rather you don't want to feel bad after the outcome of what you intend doing comes out simply because of you being afraid. This is when we now reason by ourselves what we have got to lose and what we have got to gain if I do this important work.

Also, if the task isn't worth doing, still do it to avoid plenty of work or rather just remove it from your schedule list or timetable instead of wasting your time on it.

EVALUATE YOUR BRAIN TO BE REASONABLE AT ODD TIMES

You sure do know how this sounds which would also permit me to say one short story.

Once upon a time,in a village of farmers there lived a man who was always working earlier than others and went to eat, examining what his fellow farmers were doing. A day came when a young boy came to meet him and asked him why he was always early, then he replied that when he was through with his work, while eating he always checked what his fellow farmers made mistakes on which he would want to avoid while working earlier. He also said that he was checking and observing their different techniques on the farm which can also make his work faster. Lastly,he said to the young boy to be hard-working and not follow bad gangs because bad gangs promote bad deeds. The young boy ran back to work and finished earlier than the other farmers and came to meet the man for further advice on the farm…

So what I am saying is that when we do our work or task earlier,we tend to have more time to do whatever tasks we want to do rather than procrastinating all the time…

I hope this way has taught us how to advocate our ways through the voices in our head by playing the devil's advocate.
