I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for my daughter to come out of a store when I noticed the newly planted palm tree. It took me a couple of seconds to figure out why it looked strange. I got a good laugh when I realized what I was looking at, the people who planted it forgot to untie the fronds before lifting it. I took this picture 2 weeks ago and it is still like this.
That same day, I took this picture. It was supposed to show jet trails that crossed and left a big X in the sky. You can tell which are sun rays and which are jet trails, but at first glance it looks like only sun rays.
Before Christmas, I went with my sister to her daughter's house and we saw this truck in their driveway. My niece's boyfriend did this to his truck. He came outside while we were standing there looking at it. He started telling us about how much it cost him to do it, he had 800 dollars in lights, a converter, and gorilla glue tape. It started feeling like he came outside just so he could brag about all the money he spent on it. I thought it was cool as long as they could afford to do this right ahead of Christmas.
After we left my sister told me the guy does not help with rent, food, utilities, or gifts for the kids. It makes me think what’s the meaning of this? To me, spending 800 dollars to put lights on a truck is a slap in my niece's face, and what is this teaching her two boys? You know they are watching and hearing their "conversations" over money.
Hands down!!!! the hardest part of becoming a parent is not when you are raising them, it is after they are adults and you can not say anything about how they live their lives.

Hmmm, a lot of "what are the meaning of these" from your writing. Sometimes people spend money for the rong reasons anyway.
