I was joking about it maying with a crab because the end of the roe should look like the rest and this one was hard and looked like a crab claw. IDK what caused it to do this.

Yeah, I understand the joke too. In our parlance we have an adage that says that one does not learn to be left-handed at old age. It is quite difficult to try such indeed.
