By all means -- that's just me breaking down theologian Donald Grey Barnhouse in older Sunday School student terms! "God permitted sin, but also set the rules by which sin shall be sinned" -- that was Dr. Barnhouse in The Invisible War, and it was a real eye-opener to me, 20 years ago. But, you know, everybody can't talk like that. I'm a Sunday School teacher ... so I had to break it down after checking the Bible and seeing: "Yeah, God let folks do all kinds of stuff, but if only they knew ... they chose their sins, BUT ... ."
It is a good Sunday school lesson, and it is good to hear that you took it to heart. Now, I need to pick the right time to repeat it. By the right time, I mean someone needs to be in the right state of mind to hear it.
Yes ... that is important ... but the Holy Spirit already knows who it is, and when ... He'll remind you, and even nudge you!
