Good luck! It's something I did years ago, and it wasn't easy, but I've never regretted it. I'd just started practising regular meditation at the time, in a group setting, and that certainly helped me quit. I think I was using cigarettes to repress anger, and a lot of anger came up after I gave up. The meditation helped a lot. I also changed my routine so that I wasn't doing the things that I used to associate with lighting up, and I tried not to think about cigarettes.
Everything at the moment reminds me of cigarettes, it's going to take some time.
It's not easy, but nothing worth doing is. Keep at it!
