So is the question about the name I used for the contest? You’re right they used to have different names for each kind. I’m doing the best I can with limited time and didn’t think about differentiating when I wrote the posts.

I see that you have an issue with the name being different now.
As you know, the Freewritehouse is an account where many freewriters take turns to present contests and to run them as they feel fit.
Let me tell you the story of the We-Write.
We first started it to celebrate Day 100 of the Daily Freewrite Prompt. We did it on my profile and @snook was the one who came up with the idea.
At that point, we didn't even have a Freewritehouse account yet.
Then, we started the FreewriteHouse as you know it and did the WE-Write contests with people finding partners - what you call Partner Freewrite in your comment.
But we also did the We-write with presenting a beginning and asking people to write the ending. At that time, we still called it WE-Write.
Since then, we had several people who took on running the contest.
A huge THANK YOU to @freedomtowrite and @zeldacroft.
Each had the freedom to change the name, the contest post and whatever else they wanted to fit the contest to their liking - still keeping We-write in the title and the spirit of collaboration.
Now, @ntowl is running the contest and has the freedom to choose the name and write and time the contest post how she wants to do it.
She chose for this version of the We-Write - the one where you find a partner and write a story together- to be called plain and simple We-Write. Just how we did when we started the whole thing.
In the future, she might offer other versions of the We-Write as well she will name as she sees fit.
I hope this helps to clear up the confusion.

Hello. I just have partner we-write stuck in my head and am slow to change as a senior citizen. I'll remember this. Thank you for the history of the we-write. I'll go with the flow on the changes going forward.
