VIRTUE

The word VIRTUE is to be morally sound....

my name is Onah Cornelius Sunday I am into carpentry works.
I am an Economist, Enterpreneur, Business and Leadership Coach and SDG advocate.

Carpentry is one of the skills I learnt and did as side hustle while studying @ UNN, after my NYSC I continued this work, working from site to site as govt. job is not forthcoming. I've had lots of experience in this profession and one of it is the concept VIRTUE.

As defined by Mariam Webster dictionary, VIRTUE is conformity to a standard of right, a particular moral excellence. so virtue is being morally sound and one of it's seed is HONESTY.

Many workmen fall in the habit of being dishonest, they cart away with material that should be used for work in the site. many charge excessively and cook up lies to back it up and what's with this kind of attitude is that it causes distrust whenever the truth catches up with your lies and the crooked things you are doing secretly comes out openly. it stops/delay your progress in life as people will not trust you to handle their projects if they sense crookedness in you. And if it gets to this point, your growth will be backward and downward on the plane or you remain stagnant in a position.

This happens also with people in offices, top executive officials and leaders in high position and that's why there's no genuine and true growth in our relationship, works of life and our society.

Can we have a world where our disposition is rooted in TRUTH and our conduct is defined in HONESTY? yes we can and it begins with you and I.

Happy Sunday, Have a purposeful and productive week ahead...
