Welcome to my blog...✍️
NAMASTE (Hello) ❤🙏❤ to all of the stunning personalities of the Hive community I am fine and healthy and hope that you also stay fine, happy and healthy with your family
Day before yesterday, my office informed me that if required, we might have to come to work this Saturday as well. They mentioned that we could take a compensatory off whenever needed. Usually, the second and last Saturdays are off, but due to some urgent work, there was a possibility that we would have to work on those days too.
I had some plans for today. If I didn’t have to go to the office, I was planning to complete my pending tasks. A few tasks had piled up because, a few days ago, I had traveled to my native place to celebrate Holi with my family.
In the morning, I woke up at 8 o’clock and checked Discord, where we have our official group, to see if there was any message regarding work today. Since there was no message about it being a working day, I took a bath and then booked a Rapido ride to visit another center to update my mobile number on my Aadhaar card. After that, I went to a nearby dental clinic, which was about 800 meters away. I paid ₹250 as a consultation fee, and after analyzing my problem, the doctor suggested a root canal treatment and gap correction, which would cost around ₹9500. I need to discuss this with my family before proceeding.
Until 4 o’clock, the weather was very hot, but suddenly, clouds appeared, and the climate turned pleasant. It started raining, and as soon as it did, I started craving a chicken roll. I asked my roommate if he was interested in coming with me to the chicken roll shop. He agreed to join me but said he wasn’t craving a chicken roll. Instead, he decided to have Gobi Manchurian and pakoras.
Then we left our PG and started going to that shop and as you know that between that shop and my PG there is a park so why crossing that park we decided to have a round of the park so we started roaming here and there in the park before reaching to the shop or stall so while we was roaming here and there in the park I told told my roommate to click some pictures of mine because I already planned to write a blog already so that reason also I told him to take the pictures and I also clicked some pictures of nature rain and flowers that I already attached above for your reference.
Few of you are a already aware about the thing that I am in Bangalore and here the language which is used is Kannada so sometimes I found difficulty in talking to people asali thos who don't know Hindi as well as English also but nowadays I start understanding the words like if someone is communicating when we listening the words I can understand a bit of that but not completely by myself I am trying to learn Kannada but I don't know why you still difficult for me but definitely I will learn the language and it is only good for me I have seen that there are few peoples who told that why to learn Kannada what is the requirement I bro you have to think you are at a place where most of the peoples are comfortable in speaking Kannada but even though for you that try to speak in Hindi even I don't know and you should also learn some words so that if you are talking to someone and he is explaining in Canada then you should at least understand what you want to say even in my office most of the people are from Karnataka only and all of them know Kannada very well but because of me they use English in meetings and all even they can also speak in Kannada only sometimes the use to speak in Hindi also they try to learn Hindi that I to speak in Hindi so that feels good and it motivate you also to learn Kannada so that you can also understand speak a different language
Then, we left our PG and started heading toward the shop. As you know, there is a park between my PG and the shop, so while crossing it, we decided to take a walk around before reaching the stall. We roamed around the park for a while, and during that time, I asked my roommate to click some pictures of me because I had already planned to write a blog. That was one of the reasons I wanted pictures. I also clicked some photos of nature, the rain, and flowers, which I have already attached above for reference.
Some of you may already know that I am in Bangalore, where Kannada is the primary language. Sometimes, I find it difficult to communicate, especially with those who don’t know Hindi or English. However, nowadays, I have started understanding a few words. When someone speaks, I can grasp bits of what they are saying, though not completely. I am trying to learn Kannada on my own, but I don’t know why it still feels difficult for me. But I am determined to learn because it will only benefit me.
I have heard some people say, "Why learn Kannada? What’s the need?" But think about it—when you are in a place where most people are comfortable speaking Kannada, they still make an effort to communicate in Hindi or English for your convenience. So, shouldn’t you also try to learn some basic Kannada? It helps in understanding conversations and makes communication smoother.
Even in my office, most of my colleagues are from Karnataka, and all of them are fluent in Kannada. However, because of me, they use English in meetings, even though they could easily converse in Kannada. Sometimes, they even try to speak in Hindi, which feels nice and motivating. Seeing them make an effort to learn Hindi encourages me to learn Kannada as well. After all, knowing an additional language is always beneficial.
