RE: 5 Minute Freewrite: my ex

in Freewriterslast year

The time will come when you can sleep as long as you want to and, if you're like me, you will be surprised at how much you want to get up. There's less to be done, so you don't have to be stressed about it all getting done! Well, unless you're like me and you leave everything for the last minute.

Moving is awfully stressful! Here's some ideas to help with packing:

First, throw at least one thing away every day. You'll usually throw away more, but having to throw away (or donate) one thing gets the blood going.

Use children's art that you shouldn't keep but you can't get rid of as packing paper. It makes it fun to unpack.

Know that a great deal of the things you pack will never be unpacked, at least by you. Throw more stuff away!

Do allow yourself to get some help from movers. It makes moving day a pleasure, not a nightmare. But make sure they get everything! They try to leave stuff behind if you don't inspect the house just before they drive away.

Good luck!
