A Tree Of Hope - A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

in Freewriters • yesterday

Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗

What I see

I see a young lady in black winter jacket with a white school bag her back and holding a Christmas tree on her right her walking on the cold chilly street while it's snowing.

I also see a couple and other people walking on the street also. The street has long trees that are by the roadside.

What I feel
I can feel the excitement, joy and happiness in the air. It's the festive season and it comes with a lot of peace and joy.

Story
Emma's eyes sparkled with excitement and joy as she walked in the chilly street of St. Jones with her newly precious Christmas tree security held in her hand. With every step Emma took, there was this contagious, bright smile that spread across her face as she silently whispered under her breath. I can't believe I have finally gotten my own Christmas tree.

Emma's heart was filled with gratitude. For months, she had been brainstorming on how to put a smile on Aaron's, her younger brother's, face; he had been confined indoors for over seven months. All of a sudden, she remembers how he gets excited whenever they go out during the festive season and he sees how beautiful the Christmas trees are usually decorated.

Aaron was a happy boy until he had a devastating accident that left him with broken bones in both legs. The journey to recovery has not been easy on him, so this has left his spirit broken and taken a toll on his mental health.

Emma had envisioned how his eyes would sparkle again with joy when she was done decorating the Christmas tree with beautiful ornaments and a twinkling light.

With the Christmas tree safely secured in her hand, Emma hurriedly rushed home to surprise her brother and begin the holiday celebration together.

Yea, a sister's love for her brother

Thank you

Emma, such loving and caring sister. Aaron will has a happy Christmas this time even though he won't be able to go out.

He sure will be happy. Thank you for stopping by 😊

The siblings truly love each other. Their parents must have taught them to care for each other

Sure 😃

That was so kind of Emma. I am sure that Aaron will be so happy

Oh yes, he will be happy

Emma is a keeper as far as big sisters are concerned. How thoughtful she was to think not of herself, but of her brother and how to ease his anxiety during the holidays. Your story also divulges that Emma is a good listener. When someone you care about tells you or shows you their feelings, if you remember and react in a positive way, you let those loved ones or others know that you "heard" them.

I enjoyed reading your story. A perfect holiday season with a cheerful outcome. Thanks for sharing. Take care and have a good rest of your weekend.
