El pez azul se ahoga en el mar
de concreto, vidrio y negro asfalto;
piensa entre lo justo y lo legal,
entre lo más bajo y lo más alto.
El reloj marca inicio de rutina,
cada hora el mar es un espejismo
del cielo y vuelo de la golondrina
que en la huida se hunde en el abismo.
Normas unen o dividen criterios,
costumbres y leyes norman lo ajeno;
los tiranos y jueces son severos
al privar libertad en su desenfreno.
Asimismo, los censores y amistades,
sin respetar los criterios ajenos,
ignoran del poema cualidades
que solo artistas consideran buenos.
La hoja de papel y la pantalla en blanco,
afuera lluvia y truenos sin desgano,
tal vez huyeron huesos de la mano,
tomo café y salgo de mi estanco.
The blue fish drowns in the sea

of the sky and flight of the swallow
that in flight sinks into the abyss.
